Ebay item 1/21/08
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK-150S-DHC-VERY-RARE-1958-Jaguar-XK150S-DHC_W0QQ ...
Car has a buy it now price of $65,000 available for 6 days. 16k miles.

Sellers description:
1958 Jag 150S Convertible just out of a long and dry rest, mileage is believed to be correct. I talked with one of the prior owners kids and this car was driven to college in the 60's and the father had to take it away because of the childs tickets. he believes that it went into storage at that time and hadn't been moved until the auction of his dad's (deceased) collection. We purchased this car at the auction and have spent some time bringing it back to life, Carb's have been rebuilt as well as the fuel pump the engine was rewired and the engine was treated to a bath of marvel mystery oil! The engine fires over instantly and sounds tight and crisp (as a low mileage engine should. Please come and hear it run if you can. Very little rot or rust as this was stored inside all those years. It needs to be stripped and painted as well as re trimmed. Restored examples of this car bring in excess of 150,000! If this doesn't sell we will restore it and sell it at that time, or, if you would like to purchase it and have our shop (Extreme Auto) do the work for you we would be happy to oblige. I know that a lot of Jag enthusiast's will say it should have 3 carbs but not all 150s's had three , this one came with two as well as a starting carb in between.

We are please to offer this 1958 Jaguar XK150 S Roaster for sale. This is an exceptionally nice car that has been subject to a no expense spared restoration. As you will see in the photos absolutely everything has been restored on this car and has very few miles since the restoration was completed. On 11/22/19 the car was sent to XK's Motorsports for a full engine rebuild and to go over the car fixing anything they found. The car has only been driven several hundred miles since that time and is ready to go. The XK150's Roadster is a very rare car and highly desirable with just 888 examples being produced. You would be very hard pressed to find a nicer, well sorted example of this very rare car.
