This car was purchased from Michael Robinson by Gavin King and sold to Ian Surplice and Leslie Green in 1994. Chassis and body restored and painted by Concours Sportscar Restoration, assembly done by Ian. Sold in 2005 to Barrie Frost.

My Father owned this car in the mid 1950s after it was damaged in an accident at Victor Harbor SA He removed the engine and fitted it to speed boat MARYANNE which raced very successfully including holding an Australian record. I have the original Head, the block was destroyed when a conrod broke. I have photos of this engine fitted with 6 Grand Prix Carbs I also have the original identification plate, I would like to return the plate to the current owner
