This car was sold new through Appleyards (of Leeds) according to factory records, but Bernard Viart found some record of early owners being Col. Simone and then Armand Schlee. In 1976 a car under this registration number GKY907 was offered for sale by well known Jaguar racer John Harper, as one of his two racing XK120s.
