Delivered November 1951 to Independent motors Wellington the first owner was Porter Motors Palmerston North registered March 1952
The car comes with full known and recorded ownership history
The XK has had a full complete nut & bolt restoration and was completed around 2010 and has done very little mileage since.

The car is listed in the book entitled Racing Jaguar in NZ by Brian Watson.

The car is currently fitted with 4.2 E type Engine and Gearbox making for very spirited motoring, included in the sale is the original 3.4 engine and matching gearbox along with spare cylinder heads and many other spares for the vehicle including a period radio unit also included in the sale is a large receipt file and photos of the restoration.
