ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT JAGUARS WE HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF OFFERING. FACTORY RACE PERPARED A ONE-OFF PRODUCTION CAR:
This Right Hand Drive 1953 XK 120 Roadster (OTS) is very unusual in that it was ordered shipped to the United States. It was especially ordered by the New York Dealer / Owner himself, Max Hoffman, New York Jaguars, for his own personal use. Max raced this car for some years and then sold it to Alex Ulman, owner of the famed Sebring Race Track. Ulman raced and rallied the car during the 1950's and it then sold to a famous racer in California by the name of James A. Granger.
James A. Granger raced the car in SCCA events at Santa Barbara, California; Pebble Beach, California; and Santa Monica (Cloverfield Track), California, after which the car received a full body-off body restoration.
