Chassis completed on 13 October 1953 and despatched on 23 October 1953 to Yorkshire distributor Hatfields of Sheffield, fitted with a special 3.31 ratio rear axle. First owner was Mr J.J Lister of Doncaster, Yorkshire, UK. Exported to New Zealand in 1973. Nothing further known until reported owned Mr Walbertson or Howick, NZ who had sold it by the 1980s to John Sommerfeldt of Auckland. Since at least 1993 owned by Bill Clarke of the Christchurch area (who also owned XK120 DHC 667260)

This car runs and drives well. Car comes with original factory painted wire wheels in addition to the current spoked chrome wheels on the car. Car is being sold due to ill health of current owner.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
