This car was bought in the London area in the mid 1960s and was driven enthusiastically until some fixable malfunction (a blown head gasket, I think) saw it put into a lock-up in the early 1970s. The owner fell behind in the rent for this, and despite increasingly-strident letters from the letting agents he ignored all of them until the car was repossessed. Aye, there's nowt so queer as folk.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
