No first owner recorded by the factory. Nothing
further known until said to have been left in a past owner's will to the
Hope College (presumably a college in MI, USA) around 1979. It was also reported as having passed to the Dallas Motor Museum and to have been part of a collection called the Sluyter collection (neither report verified). In 1995 it was reported as owned by Mark Waller of London W11, UK.
In 2002, it was sold at a Bonhams Brooks auction in London.

Hi, have you fitted an electric auxillary fan to combat the overheating problems of early XK120's?

Pekka,
Repaint and Restore is by definition two different things.
Yes I had it repainted, Yes it was repainted when I bought it, Yes most cars from 1949 has had some paint job done to it.
And finally, No it is not restored.
Thanks for your concern.

After eight Mille Miglias 2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014 and 2015 this great car is taking a pause for letting her sibling XKC016 to do her third MM after doing so in 1953, 2017 and now 2018 soon to come,
670035 is one of the early 120's who has done the most MM's and actually finished all of them, great achievement!
