Hello Peter. Yes, this is the car my late father, James Dale, owned from 1972 until he passed in 2017. I bought the car from his widow in 2020 and the car is now with me in Colorado. Essentially family ownership for 49 years... not too bad.

Hear, hear !

It is a beautiful car, its lines not compromised by wing mirrors, fog lights and ugly bonnet straps, etc.

A delight to behold.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
