For sale is a beautiful 1951 Jaguar XK120 OTS (Open Two Seater). The car has been in the process of restoration for the past few years, reason for the sale is home purchase. This car has many early XK120 features, including cast aluminum fan, brake ducts, studless front camcovers, oil level combination fuel level gauge, env axle, chrome marker lights, early generator. Frame has been blasted and painted, new brakes all around by Apple Hydraulics, and new shoes, new stainless stel falcon exhaust. body has been stripped, blasted, and rust work professionally done, (no hack work). Rust work includes new left sill, shut face and boot floor. Body has been primed and roughed in with the first sanding and then primed again. Body has been put back on frame for final fitment and aligning of gaps. This is when work stopped. New full red leather interior kit, seats have already been upholstered, tack strip kit, and black convertible top, new hose kit, 2 carb kits. Five new whitewall tires, wheels have been blasted, primed, and paiinted silver (which was the color it was going to be, but it can be easily changed at this point.) Engine, frame, body, and gearbox are matching numbers. Head is a correct early style replacement, (most likely factory replacement part).
This car has to be seen to be believed. This is THE NICEST XK120 you will find at this price. All that's left is to choose your final color and reassemble! All questions are welcomed, don't hesitate to ask. I could write page after page about this car, but I will let the pictures tell the story! Note that many parts have already been blasted and are ready to install, saving you big $$$. All parts pictured come with the car, including original side curtains, some extra sheet metal, and other miscellaneous parts.

This specific example with chassis number 671360 is a Jaguar which belongs to a very good friend from us who has asked us to sell the car. Unfortunately the gentlemen has not used the car since he bought it after it was restored. The restoration has been done ok, but it is not a concours condition restored car. The car has been restored by a private person and this has cost a lot of money. Looking underneath the Jaguar shows an almost new car. There is for example a brand new stainless steel exhaust under the car where a sticker is on which is looking as the car has not been used since its restoration. We have driven the Jaguar now for approximately 150 kilometers and this gives a lot of fun. The power of the engine and the sound of the exhaust in combination with the handling and the looks of the car makes an XK 120 a very nice and spectacular car to drive and we advise to try it in the Mille Miglia. It is absolutely a nice driver and a very nice looking example in a fantastic color combination. It is superb to find such an early model of the XK 120 with the spatch at the back as well as with the nice aluminium lamps which are located on top of the front wings of the car. Only the first examples which are made have these very nice small lamps in aluminium. There are some pictures available from this restoration. The Houtkamp Collection is centrally located near Amsterdam and only 10 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
