I purchased this car onebay March 2003. A great driver!. Originally white, the car had been restored to a metalic blue. My wife will never forgive me for selling it.

Offered by Osenat C° in a special Jaguar Auction at Fontainebleau, France, just outside Paris, at the end of September 2005.

I think there's a mistake in this chassis number.
The correct number is 671656 instead of ..566.

Others numbers (body and trans) do match.

The webmaster should remove this very record.

Webmaster note: Car information was moved to this, the correct, number

Actually, this car has been auctionned at Fontainebleau, France, Sep. '05. Hence the recorded City (Rennes) and State (Brittany) should be canceled. The knew owner is said to live in France, so I guess the car is still there.

I bought the above car, June 18 2006. Mileage was 94400.
I use it regularly all over France, now the counter shows 5870 M. I thanks the previous owners to have restore and maintain properly this very enjoyable XK 120.

    Auction description:
    Lot n° 524
    1950 JAGUAR XK120 Roadster
    Estimé : 45 000 / 55 000 €
    Adjugé : 45 000 €

    Chassis n° S 671656
    Moteur n° 3541-8

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
