Ebay item 6/2/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK120-Roadster-/190540224012
Current bid $6,766 reserve not met, 6 bids 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This XK120 roadster is a fully matching number car. The nicest thing about the car is it's low original mileage of 12,800 miles. The car had an accident as you can see on the passenger side door area. The owner brought it to a shop to have it repaired and it was put in a back room where it sat for decades. The engine has never been out of the car. This XK is pretty much complete, what I see is missing is the driver's side windshield glass with frame, the spare, the tools and the jack. If you look in the engine compartment you can still see the grease guns mounted to the fire wall and see that it has a special equipment type of coil. The side curtains are in the trunk. The there is still material attached to the convertible top frame, but it is not in useable shape. The frame underneath is in excellent condition. The rust I see is just surface rust. This is a very nice project for a complete restoration.

Car now offered at:

Sellers description:
1952 Jaguar XK120 roadster that is a good car for a total restoration. It is matching numbers. The car is currently in black primer - originally it was green with a red interior. The frame of the car is straight and solid. There is only some surface rust on the chassis. Right rear fender had a minor hit and the car has been in storage ever since. Body panels are mostly straight. There is bondo (filler) on the front left fender as can be seen in the pictures. Interior is complete with seats and all original gauges on the dashboard. Engine has never been out of the car and turns freely by hand. Car is mostly complete and comes with the convertible top frame and side curtains. Spare tire area has rust. It is missing the driver side windshield glass with frame, spare tire, jack and tools. Overall this is a good Jaguar XK120 for a restoration. Price $37,500.
