Here is a California car from new. It is almost completely rust-free, except for very little surface rust on one of the front bumpers. The upholstery, interior and trunk are in excellent shape; the top is also excellent and correct with the small glass window. The side screens, which have never been on the car and are as new. The paint has some blemishes and fading here and there. The really strong point of the car, however, is its mechanical condition which is excellent. The 2-inch carburetors and slightly modified exhaust give it an exhilarating performance. The Michelin 'X' radials provide great handling. The wood wheel it has is smaller in diameter and easier to use and makes for quick steering. The standard twin 6 volt system has been replaced by Optima batteries in series, having a slightly modified the area behind the seats to accommodate them. This car has tons of possibilities for the collector who would like to do cosmetic work. It is not a perfect show car but is a very strong driver and can be driven daily. IT IS A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE!
