This 1952 Jaguar XK120 is a Fixed Head Coupe that was refurbished in the early 1990s, and it is finished in black over red leather. The car is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and is equipped with dual SU carburetors, a split front windshield, chrome bumpers and bumperettes, front driving lights, chrome 16” wire wheels with knock-off hubs, burl wood trim, and Smiths gauges. Work in 2026 involved rebuilding the carburetors, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders along with replacing the fuel pump, battery, and fuel filter. This XK120 Fixed Head Coupe is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with service records and transferable New York registration.
The car is finished in black and was repainted in the 1990s. Exterior equipment includes a split front windshield, chrome front bumpers, front driving light, chrome rear bumperettes, and a polished exhaust outlet. Bubbling and other blemishes around the body are visible.
Chrome 16” wire wheels feature knock-off hubs, and they are mounted with 6.00-16 Avon Turbospeed Mk 4 tires. The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension with telescopic-type hydraulic shock absorbers as well as semi-elliptical rear leaf springs and Girling hydraulic rear shock absorbers. Stopping power is provided by red-finished four-wheel drums. The seller tells us that the brake master cylinder and wheel cylinders were rebuilt in January 2026.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in red leather upholstery complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a burl wood dash housing Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles.
The 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six features dual SU carburetors and was factory rated at 160 horsepower. Work performed in January 2026 involved rebuilding the carburetors, changing the oil and coolant, and replacing the battery and fuel pump.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The vehicle is being sold on its New York registration, which serves as an ownership document in New York.
