Heritage Notes

According to Roger Paine's post on the xk-lovers list (dd 2009, March 2nd), this chassis has never been built or used. The thread is titled: How Many FHC?

This chassis number and the next one, 681242, were never built. They were renumbered 681484 and 681485, the last two FHC LHD, and were despatched in September 1954. The reason for this re-numbering is not known (info from Jaguar XK120 In Detail, page 197 by Anders Clausager).
