Car acquired by current owner in 1973 when it was totally stripped and rebuilt to rolling chassis.

Twenty five years later !! restoration continued with full bodyshell rebuild, engine g/bx o/d overhaul and retrim by professional suppliers. Subsequent reassembly, electrics, hydraulics, fuel lines, etc carried out by owner. Car on road for first time after completed restoration December 2003.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
