Sellers description:
THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 1958 JAGUAR XK 140…. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION… THIS CAR HAS BEEN SETTING OUT SIDE FOR MANY YEARS AND IS VERY RUSTY. IT HAS A LOT OF GOOD PARTS ON IT. THE MOTOR IS STILL IN IT ,HAS NOT RAN IN DECACDES. THE RUNNING GEAR IS STILL INTACT, TRANNY, ETC.FLOORS ARE RUSTED OUT. FRAME IS VERY RUSTY. DOORS ,DECK LID AND HOOD ARE ALUMINUM FROM FACTORY AND ARE USABLE. BUMPERS ARE STRAIT ,NEED TO BE RECHROMED.WINDSHIELD FRAME IS INTACT NO GLASS. THIS CAR HAS A GOOD TEXAS TITLE.GRILL INTACT,HEAD LIGHT FRAMES,TAIL LIGHT FRAMES,ETC NEED RECHROMING. IN MY OPINION I DO NOT THINK IT IS WORTH RESTORING BECAUSE OF THE RUST.

The chassis#A811866DN BODY#F11927 ENGINE#G6174-8 GEAR BOX#JLE33429 THE # ON THE MOTOR MATCHES.THIS MOTOR IS MISSING 1 CARBORAITOR, DISTRIBUTOR , AND A FUEL PUMP. WE NOTICED THIS WHEN WE GOT THE HOOD OPEN

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
