Sellers description:
The Jaguar XK140 Roadster offered here at Autostorico was first registered in February 1957 Chassis no: 813223. This beautiful example was one of the last XK140's made before Jaguar started production of its replacement, the XK150. Supplied new by Jaguar Cars, New York, USA the car spent much of its life in Houston Texas before retuning to the UK in 2004. Finished in British Racing Green with Sage Green leather interior, this stunning example has undergone a full body off nut and bolt restoration. Works included; replacing all corroded panels, full chassis and suspension overhaul. The interior has been completely re-trimmed with new carpets and hood. The engine has undergone a complete rebuild and has been enhanced with the addition of electronic ignition and an alternator. A new five speed gearbox has been fitted to give more relaxed high speed touring. Other work undertaken includes: Full re-wire, Front disc brakes fitted, Re-chromed, Axle rebuild and new wire wheels and tyres. The car comes complete with a Jaguar heritage certificate, current MOT, Photographic evidence of restoration and numerous receipts.

This is the perfect opportunity to own a true British classic, which will certainly appreciate further over time. £127,500.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
