Current bid $10,300 reserve not met, 3 bids 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $22,500.

Sellers description:
1956 Jaguar XK140 Restoration Project. Clean dry Colorado car. Stored since 1970's. Started life as a Fixed head coupe, top removed at factory spot welds to convert to a drop head (original hardtop still with car). Car body stripped and dipped with most rust repair completed. Engine removed and rebuild, installed in car never started. Car is complete with extra parts. Along with the car itself, you get 4 new Dayton 60 spoke chrome wheels in the box, an OSJI Major interior kit DHC (biscuit in box), canvas tan top (in box). To complete transformation from FHC to DHC you will need top frame (avail on ebay) and different external door handles. Moving out of state only reason selling. Once in a lifetime find.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
