Sellers description:
1956 Jaguar XK 140 Car was owned by my father, who passed away recently. Car has been kept indoors for more than 30 years. Pictures show body in decent shape, interior needs work. Engine removed from car, I assume that my father got ambitious and was going to restore it, but only got so far. All original parts, keys are located in the trunk (why I have no idea). Once restored, car would become instant classic.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
