Records show this to be the first right-hand drive XK150 drophead coupe built at Jaguar's fabled Browns Lane factory in 1957 and it pleasingly still retains its original registration number 'UXB 113'.

In the current ownership since August 1989, the vendor, who is now only selling due to his impending retirement and relocation, describes the car as a good, original example which benefits from minor modifications such as the fitment of a Kenlowe fan and manual choke to enhance usability. He further reports that the car has been regularly maintained in his ownership and is a joy to drive.

Finished in red with grey leather upholstery and grey carpets, 'UXB 113' is accompanied by an owner's wallet and handbook, routine maintenance chart, history file, Swansea V5 document, MoT to June 2014 and road fund licence to April 2014.

I used to own the car in the 60's and I would like to see it again. I had a great deal of fun in the car and did my early dating with my wife with it.

This car is mentioned in "XK Bulletin Oct. 1977" in a letter from the then owner Brian Stewart of Southend Essex. He sets out a long list of detail differences from later production cars.
