Highly restored, '59 Jaguar XK 150 S OTS with correct matching numbers. Has: tonneau, 16 inch chrome wheels, overdrive. Restored between 2000 and 2003 with receipts for around $65000: engine fully rebuilt, new wiring loom, all new paint and chrome, all new interior.

    Auction description:
    Vintage Motors in Arizona
    Friday, January 23, 2004 [Print]
    1959 Jaguar XK150S Roadster
    ESTIMATE: $65,000 - $75,000
    CHASSIS NO: T831621DN

This west-coast example has recently benefited from a body-on restoration that included a bare metal repaint of the completely rust free body. It is finished in red with a brand new BAS biscuit leather interior and a black Stayfast top. During restoration, all mechanical systems were restored, including engine, gearbox, rear-end, suspension, brakes, gauges and the fitment of a new wiring harness. The engine is not original to the car, but is the correct type. Four new 16" 70 spoke chrome wire wheels with Dunlop bias-ply tires and tubes were fitted. Receipts for the work performed are available for inspection prior to auction and will accompany the car. This example traveled just under 500 miles after restoration. It is now fully sorted and ready for as much road use as the next owner wishes.
This highly desirable ā€œSā€ version of the wonderful XK 150 model is handsome and road ready.
