HAS ANYBODY ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS CAR THAT I PURCHASED IN NORTH OF FRANCE.??

Due to the lighting in the photos the interior possibly looks maroon; however, the interior color for this car is correctly tan.

This is the first known survivor to be fitted with 3.8S (3 carburrettor engine) in this model

I think the interior is "Tan". Does anyone have the original interior leather samples as also with E-types, "tan" which was a rare colour then is often confused with other colours as is "Light Tan". I think "Tan" is also often confused with red, or even maroon. I thought "Tan" is a bit "orange" brown and "Light Tan" is more plain brown, but I could have it all wrong. Original interior samples would be the only reliable reference. Cheers!

Hi Pekka! You are right to often these colours mix and it's even worse when they are confusely mixed with later production-colours. This interior is original and you are welcome to have a sample when in copenhagen.
