Seller's description:
Chassis Number: S835169DN
Engine Number: V2718
The car was acquired from an estate in the last phase of the cosmetic restoration. The previous owner had owned the XK150 from the 60s and was his pride and joy and decide to have the car cosmetically restored around 2015. The previous owner passed during the final stage and was unable to enjoy the car once again. We acquired the Jaguar from the estate needing some final parts installed. We installed New Chrome true Knock off wheels and new white wall tires. Installed a new fuel tank and sending unit and had the carburetors professionally rebuilt. The jaguar performs as it should down the road and is a true pleasure to drive. The exterior finish shows great overall with excellent shine and all-new fender welting was also installed. The interior appears to be all original except the carpet and some minor items like the shifter knob. There are a few items that should still be addressed: The gas gauge in the dash needs to be replaced or rebuilt, the speedometer jumps and is inaccurate. A true Must See!

1959 Jaguar XK 150 FHC
Numbers Matching, Heritage Certificate
Very nice 1959 Jaguar XK150 Fixed Head Coupe for sale. Built February 3rd, 1958, and originally finished in Cream with a black interior, 1 Of 4,445 FHC Built From 1957-1960. Equipped with its original numbers matching 3.4-litre engine and numbers matching 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Recently refinished in Black with a black and red interior. Includes cover, Jaguar restoration books, and heritage certificate.
Its second owner loved this car from the 1960's and in 2015 decided to give it a refresh. Unfortunately, he passed away during the final stages. Luckily, it fell into good hands.
The original numbers matching 3.4L DOHC Straight 6 3,443cc 190hp motor starts, idles, and runs beautifully. We do not know if the long-term owner rebuilt it but it runs as if that were the case. The original 4-spd Manual Transmission + Overdrive transmission shifts up and down through the gears effortlessly and the overdrive functions as intended. The dealer who purchased it from the estate continued the restoration with the installation of a few remaining parts along with a new stainless steel exhaust system, new front & rear bumpers, an aluminum radiator, a new fuel tank and sending unit, and had the carburetors professionally rebuilt. Once sold to our client, the current owner and British car enthusiast, added a new steering rack, wiring harness, and front Wilwood disc brakes amongst other things.
The newer black exterior finish shows great overall with excellent shine and all-new fender welting was also installed as well as new front & rear window seals, new chrome true knock-off wheels, and fresh, proper white wall tires.
The interior is original except for the newer red carpet. The original leather seating is quite well-preserved along with its wool headliner, door cards, panels, and dash giving it that wonderful distinguished wood/leather/wool aroma only found in original, vintage British cars. The gauges and ancillary items are in working order making for a great driving experience.
