Current bid $16,500 reserve not met, 8 bids 5 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
    VIN: S836724BW
    Engine: VA1555-9
    Body: J10835
    Gear Box: JBX1562

    Built: February 9, 1960

    First title: November 1, 1962

    Titled as a 1961 model

    Present mileage: 98,737

    History:
This Jaguar XK150 FHC spent its first 18 years in California. I have the California black plate as well as the cancelled check for the 1980 purchase. I have owned the car since January 1998. The frame is in outstanding condition. I have the receipts from 12/15/1986. These include the previous owner’s (PO) restoration efforts as well as things that I did to return the car to nearer original condition. The only things I am aware of that do not work are the intermediate speed hold, the anti-creep and the clock. The clock was rebuilt by Nisonger when the tachometer was replaced in May 1998. Given how little the battery has been connected since then, it is not a surprise that the clock does not work and it should be a minor effort to return to service. The glass is Triplex and appears to be original. There are no tools besides the Thor hammer for the knockoff wheels.

NOTE: The windscreen washer bottle was not installed in the car when I took the engine photos. It is now

The numbers listed match the Jaguar Diamler Heritage Trust certificate. Where possible, photos are included as confirmation.

Based on mileages from the title transfers, the car has traveled less than 2,623 miles in the past 29 years. The car starts, runs and drives well. I am selling it to buy a car with air conditioning that we can travel in.

The car has been judged once by the Jaguar Club of North America at a Concours d’Elegance and scored a 9.957 in the driven class. Since that time, a number of the larger deductions have been addressed, so I would expect it to do better if judged again.
