A factory development car, leaving the factory with OTS bodywork and 'S' specification engine. Sold by the factory as a 'second hand' car to Mike Hawthorn's TT Garages.

A really interesting car. Factory Development vehicle, converted to Right Hand Drive by factory, as well as having an 'S' experimental engine based on a Mk7 engine block. The cylinder head shows signs of being done by hand with a non uniform pattern on the inlet manifold studs and the ports having been moved. The factory also experimented with the OTS bodywork before selling to Mike Hawthorn's TT Garage.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
