1 of only 49 right hand drive SE specification cars ever made. A very rare car indeed. Even more rare is the fact she retains her original engine, Moss gearbox and drum brakes. The car drives very very well with a really strong engine and good Moss gearbox. We will replace the original wiring loom as part of the sale to a private individual.
Defined as 'shabby chic' to 'shabby' reflects the condition of the bodywork and trim in that the car is very solid and rot/rust free but will probably require repainting and possibly re trimming too. The reason we haven't done this is because the car looks magnificent as it is and may make a new owner very happy just as it is.

History. Exported to France in July 1953 and registered 7785 EA 49.Returned to Belgium some time later into collection of Jaques Ickx motoring journalist and motor cyclist, who started the Royal Mons moto club and invented the Liege- Rome -Liege rally as 3day nonstop event. Father of Jacky Ickx F1 champion. Sold by m.Ikcx to another Belgian moto enthusiast and then on to Twyford moors in 2002, who sold it on to France when it lived in Paris for several years before being bought by myself form Neil Fender and Guy Broad.
If anyone can help me identify the french owner from 1953 I would be very grateful.
