This is probably one of the nicest XK120 SE OTS available for purchase. This car has been entirely restored to the highest standard, and is in absolutely top condition. It was originally delivered new to the famous Hornburg Jaguar dealership in Hollywood, CA, and was brought to europe at the end of the nineties. As the pictures attest, the car was a very healthy (and rust free) restoration project. it was then underwent a complete frame-off restoration by Carpoint in Germany and the UK. During the restoration, the owner had the following, very sensible, modifications done: Front wheel disc brakes, Getrag 5 speed gearbox, aluminium fuel tank, conversion to 12V, slight chassis ameliorations, stainless steel exhaust, competition wirespoke wheels, high performance aluminium radiator, electric ventilator, longer final drive. All original part are available and will be sold with the car. Notwithstanding these modifications, the car benefits from the sought after Swiss "Veteranenausweis" (collectors car registration). In its current configuration the car is increadibly nice to drive and reliability is outstanding.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
