Exceptionally special 1954 Jaguar XK 120 SE OTS. This is a numbers matching SE OTS finished in its original color of pacific blue and documented with its British Heritage Trust Certificate authenticating it as numbers matching and an original OTS SE. This wonderful car has been owned by Jaguar specialists, marque experts and enthusiasts throughout its pampered life. It was treated to a full frame off restoration in 1988 at the time the original miles stood at 80,000 and now the car has travelled a total of just 92,367 miles. The car is a fully numbers matching XK120 SE equipped with its original numbers matching 3.4L motor and comes with its original numbers matching 4 speed transmission. The car was accepted, participated in and completed the California Millie. a few upgrades were added to make this one of the finer driving XK120 SE's available. The 4 speed manual was removed and replaced with a 5 speed synchro-mesh manual supplied by Jaguar Classics of Dallas along with a resurfaced fly-wheel and new clutch. The front drums were removed in favor of front disc brakes and a master cylinder upgrade, all new ball joints, new wheel bearings, rebuilt steering system, new Spax gas shocks, new rear springs and gaitors. The fuel tank was replaced with a new stainless steel tank supplied by XK's Unlimited with new braided fuel lines, fittings and an electric fuel pump. An electric radiator fan with a cockpit switch to control it was added along with an aluminum auxillary expansion tank, custom aluminum radiator, dual stainless steel exhaust and an entirely new electrical system. The car was setup to be driven to the fullest of its potential and to obtain the most enjoyment possible out of an XK 120 SE. It performed flawlessy as expected and went on to drive in other tours. The car comes with new side curtains, top and tonneau, owners manual, tools, original brake drums and original 4 speed manual, full set of spares including belts, hoses, wiring harness, water pump and generator as any road going car should.
An outstanding original color of Pacific Blue. This Jaguar was built July 7th 1954 and was sold new at Hornburg Jaguar of Los Angeles, CA. This is a stunning example for the collector that truly enjoys driving their cars.
