Customs cleared vehicle
Acquired in the USA in 2004, our XK 120 Convertible was imported into France immediately afterwards; it was then completely dismantled for a full restoration
The bodywork now has a metallic grey paint finish that was applied a few years ago; a navy blue canvas was chosen for the soft top, which will need to be fitted to the frame
Inside, the leather seats, carpets and woodwork are all new: the combination of colours and materials is stunning;
the dashboard and interior fittings still need to be assembled
Under the bonnet is a 3.4-litre engine from an XK 150, which has benefited from a complete overhaul and is fitted with
a cylinder head adapted for unleaded petrol; the engine is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox: it will require a simple restart
This beautiful XK 120 cabriolet, presented at an attractive price, represents an interesting restoration project that should be brought to fruition; calling all enthusiasts and lovers of the genre
