Sellers description:
Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this very sharp Jaguar XK140 MC Roadster, in striking tuxedo black over red leather interior, which has been treated to a fine cosmetic and mechanical restoration by its meticulous owner.
The restoration was carried out by professional shops in Arizona. The restoration is completely documented, and includes full written documentation and full photographic documentation showing every stage of the process - including the engine rebuild, and the bare-metal paint and bodywork for painting. Upgrades carried out include a 5-speed manual gearbox, an aluminum radiator and front disc-brakes - all of which contribute to the wonderful driving experience of this car.
In addition to the restoration documentation, the car's history and provenance is also well documented, and the car includes its full original tool set, owners manual (new old-stock), new top, side curtains, and fitted car cover.
The verified "numbers-matching" car is in overall excellent condition. It has been fully serviced, fitted with new tyres, and is ready to enjoy at club events, rallies and fun-filled touring. It's a gem that will be a welcome addition to any fine collection - or a collection of one!

We have discovered that the car has an XK120 head and the XK140 block has had the stamped numbers changed to match the block. While the numbers match the plaque, it seems as though the block was stamped to match the head and a new plaque was made to show matching numbers - just not XK140 numbers! We are now trying to confirm if this car was originally an MC. Poor owner of the car had no idea.
