Our Jaguar XK140:
Fully authentic car of rare beauty, with chassis, engine and gearbox numbers matching Jaguar’s Heritage Trust register.
This beautiful XK140SE LHD roadster is in wonderful condition, finished in a pale cream colour with red leather interior. This is an exceptional unit in the Special Equipment - Fixed Head version for the European market.

The interior is the most refined and exclusive that can be admired in a car of this level.
The massive use of burr wood on the dashboard and on the doors appears almost excessive, in its former glory. The unique design of the Smiths instruments seems to drown embedded in the rich thickness of the precious wood of the dashboard.
The two small ashtrays placed in the burr wood at the top of the dashboard are very refined: one for the driver and one for the passenger. Between the two ashtrays there is a tiny and elegant rectangular rear-view mirror.
The rear seats, of fine craftsmanship, complete the magnificence of this sophisticated living room on four wheels.
The engine has been preserved in excellent condition, with the type C cylinder head capable of developing a power of 210 HP. Close ratio 4-speed gearbox for sporty performance. Over the years, its owner has made frequent overhauls and adjustments, preserving the condition and efficiency of the car with care.
Original headlights with “J” emblem and Lucas fog lights supplied.
Jaguar chrome wire wheels.
For its beauty and sophistication, this car remains one of the most fascinating iconic models of the last century.

JAGUAR XK140 FHC (fixed head coupé) SE (special equipment).

SE (special equipment) - special features different from the standard version: type “C” cylinder head.
Double exhaust, standard fog lights, 210 hp compared to 190 hp of the standard version.
SUHH6 carburettors.

It is a first series also recognisable from the upper part of the radiator which is not smooth as in later versions.
Original Jaguar cream colour.
Preserved red leather interior.
Matching numbers and colours.
Body restored about 10 years ago.
Original single brake circuit (not double as in the XK 120 second series).
Registered in the ASI historical register.
JDHT certificate (Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust).
Eligible for the Mille Miglia (even if it has never participated).
Born in Europe with original left-hand drive (part of its life was spent in the USA).

new braking system.

Shipping to Italy and abroad.

All extra costs are at buyer’s expense.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
