The 1956 Jaguar XK 140MC Fixed Head Coupe offered here is a matching numbers example that received a mild restoration and benefits from the care of just two owners from new. An Arizona car since 1965, it currently shows approximately 19,000 miles that are believed to be actual and benefits from regular maintenance. Its lovely bodywork includes a lightweight aluminum hood, doors and trunk lid, finished in deep Imperial Maroon which is complemented by the original beige leather upholstery and woodwork. A set of chrome wire wheels and period-style wide whitewall tires complete the package.

When new, it was factory-equipped with the very desirable “MC” Package including a high-flow C-Type cylinder head, larger two-inch SU H8 carburetors, dual exhaust outlets, driving lamps and the aforementioned wire wheels, among other features. It is offered complete with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, as well as the large tool kit, books and records.

Crevier Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1956 Jaguar XK140 SE Fixed head coupe. This beautifully restored car is fully numbers matching and finished in its original color combination of Imperial Maroon with Biscuit leather interior piped in maroon. The car is complete with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate showing it was built July 5th 1955 and sold by Max Hoffman of New York to the first owner. Being a factory SE model, it came equipped with wire wheels, c-type head increasing horsepower from 190 to 210, and dual exhaust. Currently fitted with steel wheels with covers and spats. The original wire wheels accompany the car and both sets offer distinctly different looks. This car comes from a very well respected Jaguar collector here in Southern California. The car has won first in class honors at concours here in So. Cal. The owner had a professionally made book done with pictures and information on the car, a spectacular edition to an already spectacular car.
