1955 Jaguar XK140 Fixed-head Coupe with 53,562 actual miles; 100% factory-original solid undercarriage; excellent original color. Carefully stored in Northern California for 40 years and not driven. Black California license plate that was still new in the DMV envelope. The bottom of this Jaguar is the finest example of factory metal you will see: every stamping, every spot weld - pristine. Engine starts and runs superb, hitting evening and quietly on all cylinders. All other mechanical systems need to be checked prior to driving. This lovely example is presented in the extremely attractive colour combination of Pastel Blue exterior with contrasting black interior. It is fitted with the 3.4 litre, six cylinder engine with C Type heads and HD8 Carburettors and an automatic gearbox. The interior and the paintwork were the subject of a partial restoration and which now look wonderful.
The underside of the car is said to be in good original condition even retaining the original silencer. This is a great example of these very attractive British sports cars which are continuing to attract many investors and collectors from around the globe. An opportunity not to be missed
