Extremely rare car, D-type recreation by Dunford Classic & Sports Car
A real head turner throughout!
Car is in excellent state and condition
Chassis number: S815830
This really amazing and beautiful head turner is a RHD Jaguar D-Type recreation built by Simon Dunford. Simon Dunford established Dunford Classic & Sports Car in 1990, a renowned D-Type specialist. He has built only a few replicas in full aluminium and this example here is one of those few.
This car performs sensational, drives very fast and guarantees enormous driving pleasure!
The car is equipped with a powerful and slightly tuned E-Type 3,8 Litre engine, 6 cylinder, which delivers about 300 hp, breathing through 3 Weber carburettors and a Lynx inlet manifold. Correct dashboard, instruments in full function order and a magnificent sound through the stainless steel sport exhaust, 16” wheels as the original has, make your drive unforgettable.
The car has been built in the year ’90 and has been sold to a Belgian classic car collector in 1999, when it was bought then by a Belgian classic car collector in 2005.
The car is finished with black leather seats interior and ‘French Blue’ exterior colour, a colour which has been used for contemporary Talbot Lago race cars and same colour as the original D-type XKD513 had, the original Jaguar D-type Michelotti which had been driven by Jean-Marie Brussin.
The car is technical and optical in marvellous state and condition, always greatly serviced and maintained. A car that really needs to be driven and seen! A real eyecatcher.
Registered in Germany on German number plates and is part of an amazing Jaguar collection!
