The car is still being restored
The VIN is a guess (as helped by David Bentley) as the ID plate and the chassis engraving are missing

This home market, right hand drive Fixed Head Coupe has been the subject of a professional restoration. The previous owner of the Jaguar had apparently started a comprehensive rebuild and we are informed that his work was to a high standard. The current custodian, a professional vintage and classic car restorer, purchased the motor car some three years ago and set about finishing the project.
We believe that the body was lifted and all new packing shims fitted. The chassis, we understand, was in good, sound condition and importantly, has never been welded, but has been rustproofed inside and out. The vendor informs us that all body panels are original, with the exception of the sill panel assemblies, door pillars and hinge boxes, which have been replaced. The paintwork, in the original colour of Indigo Blue, has been carried out to an exceptional standard, resulting in a virtually flawless finish.
All internal body panels have been painted and rustproofed. A new windscreen assembly and weatherstrips have also been fitted.
The interior, with a walnut veneer instrument panel, has had a new headlining, carpets and door cappings.
A new wiring loom has been fitted, together with a master switch, electronic ignition and a Kenlowe electric fan. We have been informed that the mechanics have been checked and a stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted, with exception to the tail pipes. A 'spin-on' oil filter system has also been installed, together with a new radiator and hoses.
On a road test, the Jaguar pulls smooth and strong, with power transferred via the limited slip-diff to the wire wheels with new tyres.
This exemplary XK150 is supplied with tools and a history file containing invoices, a Heritage Certificate (confirming that the model is original right hand drive / home market supplied), the V5C registration certificate and the current MOT test certificate which expires 8.2.2012. The motor car has a current tax exempt road fund licence.
Apart from the sensible upgrades mentioned, the owner has informed us that he restored the Jaguar with originality in mind.
An excellent opportunity to acquire an iconic British sporting classic.
