Trim Colour BLACK
Chassis No S827235DN
Engine No LB6519-8
Registration 717 PO

M.O.T MAY 2004
We understand from the Yorkshire vendor that the 1958-manufactured, righthand drive XK150 being auctioned here has very good chassis and coupe body, paintwork and interior, whilst both the XK 6-cylinder engine, which has been uprated to 3781cc capacity, and 4-speed manual gearbox are also said to be in very good condition. Although residing in the Isle of Man for a number of years, on its return to the UK mainland, it was re-registered with what was the original registration 717 PO, which is currently on this freshly MOT tested motor car.

Cheshire Classic Cars

Sellers description:
This stunning example of a very desirable Jaguar benefitted from a full body-off restoration in the mid 2000s, including the installation of a fully rebuilt 3.8 engine, refurbished suspension and brakes, a complete rewire, retrim and repaint in bright red.
This lovely factory RHD car has been kept in Spain in recent years and the restoration work has stood the test of time. In particular the (fully rustproofed) chassis is in excellent condition and the paintwork, chromework and interior remains very smart.
Complete with a heritage certificate, detailed history file, workshop and spare parts manuals. A great driving example with a remarkably smooth Moss gearbox and strong engine.

Mileage: 2,241
Year: 2002
Doors: 2
Body type: Convertible
Transmission type: Manual
Fuel type: Petrol
Colour: RED

V-5844-8 appears in 827237 also, was it transplanted seeing that 827235 has a 3.8 motor now.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
