The car (SN 830119DN) was purchased by the current owner's father in November 1971. After sitting nearly 25 years since the purchase date, work began In December 1995 for this XK to begin it's journey back to the road. The original head was reconditioned with new valves and seats. New piston rings were fitted into the matching numbers engine. Mechanicals were rebuilt as needed. A new exhaust system and new brakes were also installed . A full paint respray including engine bay was completed. After three years of work in June of 1998 the restoration was completed. In 2011 this car was mechanically freshened here at Ragtops & Roadsters. All receipts are available for your inspection. Engine makes good oil pressure, runs strong, shifts well, sounds great and is ready to enjoy. Needs a soft top and carpets. Offered at $67,500 OBO

Small, faint stain on lower left corner of cover. Otherwise excellent condition. I removed the voucher from the protective sleeve to photograph and then immediately placed ephemera back into sleeve. Includes ID card.
