Opening bid $55,000 reserve not met, no bids 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1958 Jaguar XK 150 roadster, chassis number S830579, engine number V41840-8, fine example, one of the best XK 150s. Runs and drives near perfectly. On the open road one can easily cruise at 60 mph. Everything works on the car and the engine was all originally rebuilt less than 4000 miles ago . The interior seats need replacing as my cat scratched them. The exterior is clean and neat. This car needs very little TLC to be show ready. The car comes with the original handbook. The fuel tank needs cleaning or replacing as the car has not been driven in some time.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
