This 1958 Jaguar XK150 is a left-hand-drive open two-seater that was manufactured and dispatched in June 1958. It was purchased by the current owner in 1987, and a subsequent refurbishment completed in 1992 included a repaint, an interior refresh, an engine rebuild, and a chassis overhaul. Originally cream over red, the car was refinished in Claret Red with a black soft top over a black interior, and power is provided by a numbers-matching 3.4L inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Additional equipment includes 16″ knock-off wire wheels, Dunlop four-wheel disc brakes, and black lap belts. The car won Best of Show at the 1993 Wasatch Mountain Jaguar Register Concours d’Elegance in Park City, Utah, as well as several Best in Class awards from Jaguar Clubs of North America shows. This XK150 OTS is now offered with refurbishment records and photos, several car show awards, a Jaguar service manual, a tool kit, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.
The open two-seater version of the XK150 was introduced in 1958, joining the fixed-head coupe and drophead coupe models introduced one year prior. The body features steel panels and an aluminum hood, as well as chrome bumpers with overriders front and rear. Originally cream with a Fawn soft top, the car was refinished in Claret Red with a black convertible soft top during the refurbishment completed in 1992. The seller notes a paint crack in the driver-side door jamb, and that the battery compartment covers in the front wheel wells are missing.
16″ knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in 6.00-16″ Dunlop Road Speed RS5 tires. Dunlop four-wheel disc brakes are fitted, and steering is via a manual rack-and-pinion. The car rides on torsion bars and tubular control arms at the front along with a solid axle and leaf springs at the rear.
The interior is trimmed in black with matching carpets and door panels, a black dashboard, and a cream instrument panel. Equipment includes a factory-style four-spoke steering wheel, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, glove boxes on each side of the dash, and black lap belts with Jaguar logos on the buckles.
Smiths instrumentation consists of a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, a 140-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 250 of which were added by the seller since 1988.
The 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six features dual SU carburetors and was factory rated at 190 horsepower. The engine was rebuilt in 1990, and the seller states that the most recent service in August 2019 included an oil change, fluid services, and two replacement batteries.
The engine identification stamp reads “V4197-8”, which matches the engine number noted on the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate as well as the engine number on the factory and reproduction vehicle identification plates. The body number pictured in the gallery reads F15669, which also matches the number noted on the factory and reproduction identification plates.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive that is activated by a switch on the dash.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate lists factory colors and identification numbers and shows a manufacture date of June 10, 1958.
Jaguar Clubs of North America Concours awards are included, as is a Best of Show award.

This 1958 Jaguar XK150 is a left-hand-drive open two-seater model that was manufactured and dispatched in June 1958. The car remained with a single owner between 1987 and its acquisition by its current owner on BaT in November 2020, and it was the subject of a refurbishment that was completed in 1992 and included repainting the exterior Claret Red, a refresh of the interior with black upholstery, and rebuilding the numbers-matching 3.4L inline-six. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive as well as a black soft top, chrome-finished 16″ knock-off wire wheels, Dunlop four-wheel disc brakes, and black lap belts. The car won Best of Show at the 1993 Wasatch Mountain Jaguar Register Concours d’Elegance in Park City, Utah, as well as Best in Class awards from Jaguar Clubs of North America shows. This XK150 OTS is now offered on dealer consignment with refurbishment photos, a tool kit, refurbishment records, and a Montana title.

The body features steel panels and an aluminum hood, as well as chrome bumpers with overriders front and rear. Flaws include a crack in the paint of the left-side door jamb, and the battery compartment covers in the front wheel wells are missing.
Chrome-finished 16″ wire wheels are mounted with two-ear knock-offs, and the car is equipped with Dunlop four-wheel disc brakes. The car rides on torsion bars and tubular control arms at the front along with a solid axle and leaf springs at the rear.
The interior is trimmed in black with matching carpets and door panels, a black dashboard, and a cream instrument panel. Equipment includes a factory-style four-spoke steering wheel, a dashboard-mounted rear-view mirror, dual gloveboxes, and black lap belts with Jaguar logos on the buckles.

The 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six features dual SU carburetors, and the engine was rebuilt in 1990.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with an overdrive unit that is activated by a switch on the dashboard.
