Seller’s Description:
This is a documented on owner Jaguar XK 150 roadster recently pulled from long term storage. The car was purchased new from Imperial Motors Jaguar in Wilmette, Illinois on May 16, 1959. We has the original sale documents and the original Illinois title. It is a complete (save for a tool kit) non running XK 150. It was never damaged in a collision and the frame is very solid. The engine does turn over and the car rolls freely. It has the matching number motor and documented factory replacement cylinder head. The interior is completely original and so is the exterior paint. The car does has a folding convertible top, canvas tonneau cover, and original owners handbook. There is a good deal of documentation with this Jaguar including original correspondence with the Jaguar factory and a letter signed by William Lyons.
The car will need a total restoration As depicted in the photos, but if ever there was a completely original one owner automobile to be saved and enjoyed, this is the one! Currently taking offers.

This 1959 Jaguar XK150 Roadster comes with fabulous documentation signed by William Lyons and is an incredibly undisturbed one owner car from new. Black with cognac leather and retaining its matching numbers engine block. Shortly after the original owner purchased the car, the motor dropped a valve so he wrote a letter to Jaguar UK regarding the issue. He eventually received a response from co-founder of Jaguar Cars William Lyons directly. Mr. Lyons agreed to to ship the new cylinder head along with several accompanying engine parts at no charge. Therefore, the engine head was changed out and documented with a letter signed by William Lyons himself. Offered with a binder full of the original correspondence on actual Jaguar factory letterhead. The car also comes accompanied by its original invoice and is being sold on its original title. The original owners manual also comes with the car.
