Ebay item 7/8/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1958-XK-150-3-8-liter-/251101522564
Current bid $22,250 reserve not met 23 bids 6 days left in auction, Gullwing motors, New York
Sellers description:
1958 XK 150 3.8 liter Coupe.
A barn find still in the barn! I am known for finding incredible original cars from arizona and california. This is a great one. 2 owners with 37k original miles and the car still has mostly if not all original paint. Its a 4spd 3.8 liter. They made over 4500 3.4s and only 656 of the 3.8 liter cars. Very rare. It has 10 hp more than the 3.4 S. Car also has wire wheels
The car is very very straight with all the right gaps and no rust in the bottom of the car. Always been in california and this car was stored for restoration back in 1970. Rare opportunity to restore a perfect core car. Matching number Engine #V1802-8. Car is in arizona.
After close inspection of the car and verifying the engine numbers this car is a 3.4 liter car. The engine numbers match #v1902-8 but it is not a 3.8 liter car so the price has been adjusted down to reflect this. If you have any questions please call. Sorry I can not change the previous part of the ad that says it is a 3.8 liter. The car also has overdrive on the 4spd trans. The car just came out of a 40 plus year storage and we did not have the full information till now.
The head is off but i have it and yes it is matching also. The seats are in the trunk along with the spare tire.

Seller's description:
Bloemendaal Classic & Sportscars
Pays-Bas, Netherlands
On November 18th. 1957, this Jaguar XK 150 3.4 Liter Fixed Head Coupe was shipped to Jaguar Cars New York USA, where it came into the possession of first owner Mr. C.J. Rotter. The beautiful coupe remained in the USA until a Dutch collector specifically wanted to add this type to his Jaguar collection. We are talking about the year 2014. The car needed a full restoration and was given in the professional hands of company Coventry from Uden in the Netherlands. This specialist is a dedicated partner of the owner of the XK and maintains all his British classic cars.
At the owner’s request, some improvements have been made in terms of comfort. For example, beautiful “period style” and handmade seats have been mounted that also give taller drivers a much better support and seating position, and the XK is equipped with power steering. The XK brakes like a modern car due to the 4- pistons calipers at the front and modified rear calipers. The old Moss gearbox has been replaced by a wonderfully shifting 5-speed gearbox which transferred the engine power faster and more precisely. Not immediately visible, but certainly noticeable at the perfect hot and cold start, is the fitting of an electronic ignition. Finally, the alternator ensures sufficient power output for, among other things, the automatic cooling fan.
The car is very extensively documented, including all invoices, photos and a Heritage Certificate that shows that we are talking about a car with matching engine numbers.
This Jaguar XK 150 3.4 Fixed Head Coupe has just completed its first running-in miles and is ready for the enthusiast for whom only the best is good enough.
