This 1958 Jaguar XK150 fixed-head coupe was refurbished under prior ownership around 2006, which involved installing a rebuilt 3.8-liter inline-six and replacing the four-speed manual transmission in addition to repainting the black exterior, refreshing the red leather interior, installing a twin-exit exhaust system, and overhauling the brakes and suspension. Equipment includes 16″ knock-off wire wheels, disc brakes, dual SU carburetors, an aluminum radiator, and dual exhaust outlets. The previous owner purchased the car in 2008, and the selling dealer acquired the vehicle as part of a trade in 2025. This XK150 is now offered in Pennsylvania on dealer consignment with 2001–2010 service records and a New Jersey title.
The car was refinished in black circa 2006, at which time the chrome trim and bumpers were repaired and replated. It features a one-piece windshield and fender-mounted side mirrors. Imperfections are visible.
Chrome-finished 16″ knock-off wire wheels and 6.00R16 Coker Classic tires were installed in 2006. A full-size spare is stored under the trunk floor. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The suspension and brakes were rebuilt with replacement components in 2006, which included a brake booster.
The cabin was overhauled and fitted with a “master interior kit” in 2006, a process that involved removing all of the components before cleaning rust scale from the interior sheetmetal, replacing the trunk floor, and applying POR-15 rust inhibitor. Records indicate that the adjustable seats and dashboard were retrimmed in red leather and the carpeting, headliner, and door-panel inserts were replaced. Appointments include a cabin heater, a defroster, wind-up door glass, door-panel storage pockets, a glovebox, sun visors, red carpeting, and a folding rear bulkhead.
The replacement four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 6k-rpm tachometer with an embedded clock as well as a 140-mph speedometer and an ammeter alongside gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 27k miles. The speedometer and the tachometer were rebuilt in 2006.
A 3.8-liter inline-six was sourced from a donor 1989 Jaguar XJ6 and rebuilt in 2006 by Authorized Imported Cars of Flemington, New Jersey. The block was bored .020″ over, the cylinder head was resurfaced, and the crankshaft was polished. Additional work included overhauling the dual SU HD6 carburetors, sealing the fuel tank, installing a rebuilt alternator and starter, and replacing the wiring harness and the fuel pump. An aluminum radiator has been installed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement four-speed manual transmission that was installed in 2006. At this time, a replacement clutch assembly and clutch hydraulic cylinders were fitted, the driveshaft yokes were repaired, the U-joints were replaced, and the driveshafts and differential unit were repainted.
The New Jersey title lists the car’s color as blue.
