Keith - It is splendid to hear from you. My notes had owner of S838997 as Stan Marcieski of USA and after resto in June 2004 it was going to Germany. Probably White
Are you in US? which Town/State? What are your numbers?
Your build date is 1960 (Oct) Of the 13 cars built after yours only one (838999) is believed but not confirmed to exist. So you have the last car in 150 DHC LHD format!!

Peter....your notes were correct.....Stan Marcieski did own this car, however it was sold to a gentleman in Portland, Or. I did buy the car from him through a automobile service and am now waiting transportation to my home in New Brunswick Canada. This car is fabulous. It has been even further "massaged" after the resto in 2004.
Thanks for the info and I do appreciate any further info you may turn up.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
