    Ebay item 5/3/11
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1953-Jaguar-XK120-Roadster-FULL-FRESH-RESTORATION-/20060 ...
Car has a buy it now price of $120,000 for 6 days.

    Sellers description:
This great Jaguar XK120 Roadster OTS (Open Two Seater) was just completed in April of 2011 from a complete and professional frame off restoration. About 100 miles have been placed on the car since and it is all sorted and ready to go. This restoration is completely fresh. The owner of this car had a complete restoration done by his restoration shop. Finished in the correct color combination of Carmine Red with Biscuit interior. This great Jaguar is better then new throughout. In addition, it runs and drives excellent. The engine was totally rebuilt and about 100 miles have been placed on the rebuilt motor. The oil pressure at idle is near 60 pounds and the compression is 135 to 140 psi across all 6 cylinders. The engine is very tight, as you would expect from the recent rebuild. It handles excellent and the car is very responsive. Furthermore, complete documentation is available of the restoration and including pictures of the car when the restoration was started. This great car was not a basket case when it was restored, but rather an older restored car that was sitting for sometime in a safe and controlled environment. Everything on this car has been redone, rebuilt or is new!

Paint: The paint on this car is one of the finest paint jobs you will find on a car. It is exceptional and brand new. There are no flaws. The body, gaps and lines on this car are perfect.

Chrome: The chrome is in excellent shape and has been redone throughout the car.

Seals: All the weather stripping and all seals are brand new.

Interior: The interior, upholstery, carpeting and top are all brand new through SNG Barratt. It a rich Biscuit color and has the great smell of new leather. Absolutely beautiful!

Wheels/Tires: The chrome wire wheels are brand new. There is also a painted spare that came originally with the car. In addition, there is a chrome spare that goes with the car as well. The tires are brand new.

Underside/floors: The frame was stripped and sand blasted. It was then painted with the highest to seal and protect the frame. The underside is as clean as the body and has been fully detailed. The wooden floors are brand new and were painted as well.

Spare Tire Compartment/Spare Tire and Wheel: The spare tire compartment is like new and painted the correct body color. The spare tire in there now is painted original red that is original to the car. There is also an additional chrome spare wheel that matches the other chrome wire wheels that are on the car.

Engine Compartment: The engine compartment on this car is exceptional. It is very clean and looks new. There is also brand new and correct wiring. The engine compartment as with the rest of the car is show quality.

Tools/Others: This great XK120 also comes with a tool set, jack, grease gun and hammer. It also comes with the original side curtains.

Overall: This is an exceptional Jaguar XK120 Roadster that has been restored to show quality. It is without a doubt one of the nicest classic XK cars available. In addition, which is very important and anyone who has been around these cars will truly appreciate, it has been fully sorted and gone through. Everything works and it runs and drives perfect. This one has been sorted by the restorer and is ready to go!! The Jaguar XK120 presented here is certainly a great investment quality car!!

This automobile is available for inspection in Cornelius, NC.
