Offered for sale in New Zealand for $125,000 NZ.

-------------------------------------
This auction is for a JAGUAR XK150S OTS that has been garaged with very little use for the past 14 years.

An open two seater finished in 'post office red', tan interior and black soft top, this has the desirable 250bhp 'S' engine and has been restored by the previous owner to a good standard.

Mechanically sound and in excellent condition, this drives very well

Vehicle information;
Chassis no: T820066DN
Engine no: VS21569
Body no: F17180
Date of manufacture: 23 Dec 1959

Has had some minor work done over the years including a generator replacement, fuel pumps reconditioned, spark plugs replaced, points etc reset and fluids changed. The only known issues with the car is the fuel flap is missing and the passenger door needs adjusting.

Another car exists in UK with this number. It is on DVLA as registration KIJ 150 and previously APA 598A

the car pictured in red is the real T820066DN and it has been in NZ since at least 1964 when it was imported from the persons aunt in the UK.
The car that is in the UK noted as [KIJ 150] and previously [APA 598A] white from memory is in fact a LHD 150 roadster that someone (we know who) has decided to make into a more desirable RHD this was done back in the late 1970's. This car has its original 150 motor and this engine number relates to the LHD 150 roadster.
I will dig out my notes and post what I can. I also have a phoograph of this car in the UK c1991

It seems the car claiming to be this number in UK is almost certainly 832066 a previous owner confirms

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
