This roadster XK120 left the factory in April 1954 and was exported to the US.
It comes with its Jaguar Heritage certificate.
The current owner acquired the car in England at the start of the 1990s, when it was in need of major work. In 1994, the car was sent to a restoration workshop where it was completely restored. This included having the engine rebuilt and the car has covered less than 2000 miles since. Details of the work carried out can be found in the file. Part of this project involved rebuilding the bodywork in aluminium (with the exception of the doors) to reduce the weight. The seats were replaced to provide better support and more recently, the cooling system has been improved through the addition of an expansion tank and a Kenlow fan. An oil cooling system was also adapted. The car has been fitted with front disc brakes, and we were very happy with the test-drive.
This XK120 is now ready to provide its new owner with hours of enjoyment, offering a lightweight aluminium body and various reversible modifications to enhanced its driveability.
