This 1959 Jaguar XK150 fixed-head coupe is said to have remained with the same family for over 60 years until it was sold in 2025. The car is finished in black over tan leather and is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 16″ knock-off wire wheels, disc brakes, driving lights, an aftermarket stereo, a Nardi steering wheel, and heated seats. This XK150 is now offered by the selling dealer with a Washington title.
The car is finished in black and was repainted some time ago, while replacement rubber seals were installed in 2005. The seller notes scratches and wear on the chrome along with various dents and blemishes on the body.
The 16″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with older Bridgestone Turanza LS-Z tires measuring 225/60. A full-size spare is stored under the trunk floor, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The adjustable front seats have been fitted with heating elements, and they, along with the individual rear seats, were re-trimmed in tan leather in 2005. Replacement carpets were also installed at that time, and a Kenwood Excelon stereo fitted below the dash is wired to Boston speakers on the rear parcel shelf and in the kick panels. The seller tells us that additional sound proofing has been added under the headliner.
The wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 6k-rpm tachometer with an embedded clock as well as a 140-mph speedometer and an ammeter alongside gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles, which is not considered to be accurate. Approximately 50 miles were added under current ownership and total mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the tachometer can intermittently become stuck at 2k-rpm during idle, although it will often resolve after further driving.
The 3,442cc inline-six featured dual SU HD6 carburetors from the factory for a rating of 210 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. The seller tells us that the engine was rebuilt and a JT5 five-speed manual transmission, a stainless-steel exhaust system, and a replacement wiring harness were installed in 2005.
Chassis number S35005DN is shown above, while the VIN on the current Washington title is listed as S835005. The Washington title lists “Classic” under the brands section.
