Car now offered at:

www.ukjag.co.uk/store/xk150s-38-fhc-1959-p-4691.html

Seller's description:

XK150S 3.8 FHC 1959

£130,000

Here we have for sale a beautiful XK150S FHC, with overdrive in British racing green, with suede green interior and painted wire wheels.

This car was retrimmed in 2019, and since had front & Rear Koni shock absorbers, power steering & alternator conversion, new water pump, water hose kit, alloy radiator, electronic ignition kit, reconditioned Servo, new brake master cylinder, brake slave cylinder, Clutch master cylinder & clutch salve cylinder, along with regular servicing.

This car is well known in Jaguar circles having been previously owned by Ian Hart for many years.

As far as I know Ian bought the car new, making it a 2 owner car, is this unique?

Ian had a regular column in the JEC magazine where he talked about his experiences with the car, and advised other XK owners when they had issues.

It is a genuine RHD "S" and came out of the factory with a 3.4 engine, this was later converted to 3.8 to give more power, as many others were.

The car also comes with the rather nice registration number of 432 PP, which is included in the price.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
