Decidedly rare, total right-hand drive XK150 'S' 3.8 litre Drophead Coupe production amounted to just 69 cars. Completed on 24th May 1960, chassis T827586 was supplied new via Henlys of London. The comprehensive history file includes the original green buff log book and MOT’s dating back to 1970. Maintenance and restoration invoices go back as far as 1973.
Beautifully maintained over the years and sympathetically restored, this XK benefits from subtle upgrades to make it the perfect tourer. These include a Twyford Motorsport 5 Speed Gearbox and electric power steering.
Presented in British Racing Green with Green Vaumol Hides, we strongly recommend a viewing at our central London showroom.

Car now offered at:
www.winspeedmotorsport.com/cars/xk150-s-3-8-drophead-coupe/
Seller's description:
XK150 ‘S’ 3.8 Drophead Coupe
£139,500
Registered on August 31st 1960, and originally supplied to celebrated Composer and Conductor: Anthony Hokpins CBE, this is an excellent, restored, example of the rare and highly prized XK150 ‘S’ 3.8 Drophead Coupe, of which only 69 examples were manufactured in Right Hand Drive form.
In addition to its 3.8 Litre engine, with correct Triple SU Carburettors, the cylinder head has been fully stripped, ported and rebuilt by WinSpeed to fast-road, WSM-2 specification.
The car is now installed with a T5 5-Speed Gearbox and power steering and also benefits from a 6-branch exhaust manifold. It sits on 16” Chrome Wire Wheels shod with Blockley Radial tyres.
Finished in British Racing Green with Suede Green trim, it possesses a good history file, complete with Green Log Book, numerous MOTs since 1970 and considerable correspondence and bills. We have known this car for the past twenty five years with its three owners during this period. It is absolutely ready for the 2026 Classic XK Motoring Season.
Another excellent example of a very rare, desirable and collectible XK from WinSpeed Motorsport of Guildford.
